After Australia was settled and farmers put in bores and dams, the extra watering points on an otherwise very dry continent, caused kangaroo numbers to explode, so a government run sustainable harvesting program was initiated. To utilize what would other wise be a waste product we trim these boots with genuine kangaroo fur - which is more sustainable than fake fur that is made from oil and which releases fossilized carbon into the atmosphere, contributing to climate change.
